Building Skills For Life

"I teach Maths, but it's not about the numbers"

Maths is necessary not just to achieve good marks at school, but also in real life for finances, shopping, managing a budget and various jobs.

I teach maths not only for these practicalities, but as a means to an end. When a student succeeds in maths, their confidence grows and spreads to other areas of their life. A confident child is happier and develops friendships and can achieve meaningful goals.

I love seeing a nervous and afraid student come into class and leave with hope and a smile. I believe that learning can be fun, and that students can achieve great results.

I am passionate about teaching students maths, but I see it as one means of unlocking a student’s potential so that they can succeed in all areas of life.

"I can't tell you how lucky we are to have found Kylie. Our son was falling behind in maths at the start of Year 6. After weekly tutoring with Kylie, his confidence has skyrocketed & he can see the achievement he is making each week. Kylie relates to him so well & teaches in such a fun enthusiastic way he actually looks forward to her tutoring. I can't recommend her highly enough to anyone wanting the best tutor for their child."
